Cari ragazzi,

volevo complimentarmi con voi per questo blog attraverso il quale speriamo di consolidare i rapporti con il comune gemellato di Hilzingen e, per quanto vi riguarda, l'amicizia con i vostri coetanei tedeschi.

E' notra intenzione dare il via a tante altre iniziative simili che vi vedrammo come protagonisti in preparazione dei festeggaimenti per i 10 anni del gemellaggio previsti nel 2011.

‘Corno Alle scale’
The Highest Peak of our area
I live at the foot of ‘ Corno alle Scale’ the highest peak of our area and when the snow begins to fall down, usually around the end of November, the woods and land near my house become white.
If you are a skilled skier you have over 40 Km of slopes at your disposal and some trails where you can practice alpine or cross-country skiing
In spring, summer and autumn you can take long refreshing walks through breathtaking valleys where the nature is a setting of rare beauty.
‘Corno alle Scale’ will offer you clean air to breath and fresh drinking water to refresh yourself and will drive you little by little into its magic nature, a paradise of wellness .
‘Corno alle Scale’ is very well equipped and it’s got the best tourist and sports facilities .
The great alpine skiing champion Alberto Tomba started to train just at ‘Corno alle Scale’ .

We are pleased to welcome you to our school's Web site, and hope you will take time to browse through the information contained herein. We trust that the pages will give an overall flavour of what Our school is about. Our aim at school is to develop each child to his/her potential physically, intellectually, emotionally, socially and morally, according to age, ability and aptitude, within a happy and controlled school environment. ANIMALS AT CORNO ALLE SCALE

Hello we are Greta and Elisa. We are here to tell you about the animals which live in our area.
We’re going to tell you about frogs, trout, Eagles and Wolves
Trout: trout are fish they like running water, they are very common in our rivers and lakes where the water is very clean and fresh. They eat insects, lay eggs and they are very good to eat.
Frogs: frogs live near rivers, they lay eggs and when they are young they are called tadpoles. Tadpoles slowly grow and become frogs . Frogs eat insects and they reproduce in spring.

What about visiting
our SCHOOL ?
Our names' are Matteo and Roberto.
I am Matteo I'm quite tall I’ve got short brown hair and brown eyes. I like five-a-side football and I’m quite good at it. My friend Roberto is as tall as I am, he’s good at football and his favourite food is chips. Roberto is thin and he’s got not very short blond hair and brown eyes. He doesn’t like school very much, he prefers playing outdoor.

Dear friends
In this picture you can see our school.
Our school is called ‘ Salvo d’Acquisto Comprehensive’,it is in Lizzano in Belvedere and as you can see is a small but quite nice building .
On the ground floor there is a large entrance, the arts and craft room, the teachers’room the toilets and a corridor .
In the corridor there are three small classrooms with our desks and chairs and all our posters and maps.
Upstairs there are three special rooms the science lab, the video room and the computer rooms. We usually go there twice or three times a week. Our computers don’t work very well and they are sometimes broken. What about your special rooms? How often do you have classes in there?
Our gym is downstairs it is quite big with large windows.
What about your school? What is it like?
We are in our second year (class 2C) and in our classroom there are nineteen children, twenty desks and twenty chairs two large windows a teachear’s desk and a big grey bookcase.

Lizzano in Belvedere and its surrounding area aren’t lacking of attractions for those who like sports and open air activities .
At any season and at any age you can enjoy cycling , trekking , walking along wonderful paths admiring spectacular waterfalls . And when the weather is too hot you can cool off with a big splash in our newly built swimming pool in Vidiciatico .
Are you mad for winter sports WELL…. This is your ideal place .
You can practice ski down our slopes or also do crazy snowboarding but be careful you mustn’t cause injuries to other people.
